    I eat and drink in the New Inn regularly and the food is consistently of an excellent quality. I feel compelled to reply to Tunde's poor review of a couple of months ago. I have had the fish and chips on many occasions and it has been cooked to perfection - not overcooked, so nice and moist, but certainly not raw. A hair on the plate? Not from the chef, as he doesn't have many to spare (and they are very short) As for friendly locals - I know that walking into a pub where you possibly don't know anybody can be intimidating, and people can seem unfriendly, but I can assure you that is not the case. If you want to come back Tunde I will happily buy you a pint - not sure how we'll arrange that but I'm sure we can find a way.
